I can't say I got much sleep last night. I had important things to get to this morning. All the state museums have €1 entry fee on sundays. I picked up a chocolate filled crossant and got cracking.

Museums in order visited:

X? - had exhibition called 'stark frauen'. Mostly roman pottery.

Glyptothek - a collection of greek/roman statues. Also had interesting exhibit of contemporary statues, and rhubarb cheese cake (apparently this will help keep my hair red?)

Pinothek Moderne - Modern art, nothing to exciting. Actually have seen quit a few of the things there before
Museum Brandhorst - More modern and contemperary works. Once again I didn't find anything that I really liked.

National Museum of Egyptian Art - is located in the Residenz. Nice, but a little small.

München Stadt Museum - A museum about München. I didn't have too much time in here, but entrance was free. Best part was the puppet and carnival exhibits.

I was finally done with all the museums for the day. The last thing on my list today, was to climb the St. Peter's tower and take a look at the city. I chose the perfect time as the sky was fairly clear and the sun was setting. I could see all the way to the Alps.

For dinner I headed back to Türkenhof. It sorta feels like cheers there already. I ran into a waitress a half block from the resteraunt and she said hi. When I orded my food in German, the guy asked 'you spoke english, right?' They were also not surprised when I ordered the Sweinenbraten with knödel after the plate of Käsespätzel. The only problem that occured is that there was a mix up and it took forever to get my second dinner, but I did score a free cappicino.

I am the KKK

This morning I dropped by a flomarkt to do some last minute shopping. I found something decent at a decent price.... I think. I don't like flomarkts-haggling.

I dropped the merch of at the hostel, ate and was finally off for the day. By the time I dropped by a few churches it was rather late. I walked to the Bayern Museum and entered. I planned on catching a second one with a little extra time. The Bayern museum turned out to be a little dissapointing and 1/4 of the exhibits where closed. I also found out that all the museums/galleries in the near were just plane closed. I only saw on museum today... again...

I got a little lost and dropped by an extra church, and 2 inteded churches. The highlight was this creepy jewel covered skeleton.

For dinner I ate at the Türkenhof again. I ran into the Welsh guy from last time. We played a little fußball (all though in german they calll it kicker). Afterwards we got into a discussion about religion/god. I tend to crush souls with my logic. In the end he gave me a 'have a nice life' which really means 'go fuck yourself, I better not see you again'.

Tomorrow a lot of the museums are €1. I have my work cut out for me.

Oh, and the title stands for Komisch Kletke Kousin. Ok, so cousin in deutsch starts with c, but it is a stretch I am going to make...

I love the pics! keep 'em coming. It is neat to see and hear stories about germany through your blog. So much to see there, and so much history.
